Based from my assigned classroom and teacher, the main teaching approach she had applied and practiced was the ‘Project Approach’ or project-based learning where a subject may be led by children or teachers while encouraging active involvement amongst individuals or group. This integrates real-world events or issues into the curriculum while taking into account children’s interest, thus, making it relevant and appropriate. Moreover, as this approach exposes children to real-life events while pushing them to take charge of their learning this results to making meaningful projects.

The teacher primarily uses traditional learning materials such as art supplies, flashcards, visual aids, and coloring sheets to support learning. To make these materials more engaging and relevant, the teacher integrates real-life experiences and aligns activities with the children's interests, helping them connect with the lessons more effectively. Additionally, the teacher occasionally takes the children outside, providing a hands-on learning experience that makes the topic more interactive and immersive.

The teacher rarely uses technology, as they prioritize active engagement and interaction among students. However, they occasionally use tools like a microphone for a louder voice, a speaker to play music and rhymes, and YouTube videos to present relevant topics or real-life events and sometimes for entertainment. Overall, the focus is on encouraging students to take a more active physical role in learning, helping them develop social and communication skills, fine and gross motor skills, exploration, and divergent thinking.
